Untuk menjalankan fungsi home screen shortcuts ini, maka ada settingan yang harus dirubah, yaitu :
Tekan tombol hijau (call button) —–> kemudian menekan tombol ‘Menu’ —-> ‘Options’ —-> ‘General Options’ —->’Dial From Home Screen’ —–> pilih ‘No’.
Setelah langkah-langkah diatas selesai dilakukan, berikut adalah daftar shortcut :
- “A” – Address Book
- “B” – Browser
- “C” – Compose (typically email)
- “D” – Memopad
- “F” – Profiles
- “H” – Blackberry help menu.
- “K” – Keylock
- “L” – Calendar
- “M” – Message (Email unless you have them grouped then both)
- “N” – BBM
- “O” – Options
- “P” – Phone
- “R” – Blackberry alarm
- “S” – Search
- “T” – Tasks
- “U” – Calculator
- “V” – Saved Messages
- “W” – Wap Browser (unless you have Berry Weather then it’s that app)
